Following the successful award of the Chesapeake Bay Trust Urban Grant in 2022, which granted Midtown $45,000 to plant 100 trees in Mount Vernon and Charles North, we have elevated our request for 2023 to encompass all four neighborhoods, seeking a total award of $200,000. This increased funding will facilitate the planting of 350 news trees.

Our team, in collaboration with community tree stewards, is actively shaping this program under our leadership, aiming to establish self-sustaining tree-planting initiatives in all four communities within our service area.
